1、退考申请
1）申请流程
登录教育部考试中心系统，输入用户名和密码，点击退考链接，选择退考(Cancel the GMAT Appointment)。教育部考试中心在接收到考生的退考申请后，会同时向考生的电子邮箱发送一封确认退考成功的邮件。
与此同时，考生还需要将如下退考申请材料传真至010-82520243，15分钟后，考生应拨打010-82520243确认申请材料已成功递交：
1. 身份证或护照复印件
2. GMAT ID
3. 考生姓名
4. 退款金额
5. 退款原因
6. 支付银行
7. 收款地址
8. 考生有效联系电话
9. 考生签名

Do you agree or disagree with the following statement: In order to become financially responsible adults, children should manage their money at a young age. (Money) 2010.1.15
Wiser conclusions are to be drawn when financially responsible adults are defined in a different way. To be a good hand at personal and family expenditure in future adult life, children indeed should learn about money and participate in financial decisions, even at a young age. However, once financially responsible adults are deemed as those financially responsible for the care and maintenance of parents, children should not only beware of money management but family obligations.
Undeniably, money management is akin to self-discipline, which is, after all, among the main parenting objectives. Because children’s financial judgment is usually not the same as that of adults, it is necessary that parents explain their point of view. For example, a child, who has had the right to take care of his/her own money, may opt to buy something adults consider foolish, such as 10 albums of a particular pop singer, or a whole collection of Teddy Bears. When this happens, the parents are supposed to tell the child that merely being partial to entertaining stuff constitutes a waste of hard-earned money, and that more focus should be put on books and extracurricular activities, things more rewarding. Likewise, if a child immediately spends an entire allowance or earnings and has nothing left for the rest of the week, the parents might extend a loan which should be repaid. Thereafter, the child must learn the lesson that money does not grow on trees.

俺家在山区，可能是山区邮递员的拼音普及程度不够，于是当年的GRE成绩没收到。焦急的我最后还是花钱电话查询了分数，因为当时以为GRE和托福（TOEFL）不一样，不能在线查成绩。其实后来才发现，ETS早已经提供了方便的在线查询系统，不过还没有在教育部的网站上实现这个功能，所以很多朋友还不知道。现将方法分享如下： 
第一步：进入：http://cbt.etest.net.cn/WebSR/Common/Login.aspx，登陆后，显示如下界面点击“考试历史记录”。点击后会下载一个WORD文档，你会需要文档中的16位Confirmation No.。此WORD文档是加密文档，不能直接复制，你可以手工记录，也可以复制此WORD文档的文件名；文件名本身就是那个16位Confirmation No.。
ETS（Educational Testing Service）于上个月（2009年3月）16号在全球最大的视频分享网站上推出了他们的在线视频交流社区，地址是：http://www.youtube.com/TOEFLtv。以下是这个社区的官方简介：
TOEFL TV has tips from real teachers and real students to help improve your English skills. You can hear what leading colleges and universities think about the value of students who can communicate well in English in an academic setting. And you can be a part of the conversation by making your own video.
这本来是个好事，因为在这个新推出的视频社区，任何人都可以找到美国名师给的考试技巧和来自全世界考生的考试经验。当然，都以视频的形式出现。但我个人觉得，这些都比较空洞，关键是可以自己传上去一些视频，比如口语视频，并且和其他考生交流。这样也许可以提高一些考试的兴趣，因为对英语抓苦的国内托福考生也不占少数。

托福（TOEFL iBT）作文说简单也很简单，因为：
什么是USCIS？
美国移民服务中心，即United States Citizenship and Immigration Services。
什么是ICE？
美国移民及海关执法局，即Immigration and Customs Enforcement。
什么是Academic Training？
它是关于J-1学生专业领域的工作或者培训；它应由RO/ARO授权。
什么是CPT？
课程实习，Curricular Practical Training。一些学位项目会将实习或获取本专业的相关工作经验等内容纳入教学计划。如果F-1学生被录取到这种项目中学习，不需要获得INS的明确授权就可以到校外去工作。它必须在指定校方负责人监管下进行。
